Is it possible to create a template to incorporate data in a custom module

Is it possible to create a template to incorporate data in a custom module

I have created a module for application briefs/use cases with our system.   I wanted to pull the data into a template to print or to send to prospects.    

I tried to do mail merge or inventory templates, but it doesn't allow me to access my new customer module.  It will allow access to the module for an email template.
