is my Creator realy hidden from other users outside

I am creating a order tracking database for four of my small retail stores. Is the actual data private to the general public but OPEN to anybody that has an valid account with ZOHO? I notice I can search the database while logged in and see other applications. How can I be assured my private data is secure while using your online service.
