Limit on Size of Message Text for sendmail command ...

Hi:

Is there a limit on the maximum number of characters that can be contained within the Message portion of an email sent using the sendmail command ?

I have a Project where the requirements is to send a single End Of Day email that summarizes the records added that day ... I need to know whether/when I will have to break it up into a number of such emails.
