Look up crashes application

Hi,
I created an app that looks up a value from another application. Now, I deleted the application and recreated with different fields.
However, this has caused the application that takes the feed to crash. It now does not display anything.
I would like to know if I must re-create the entire source application.
I have downloaded the .ds file. Any way i can restore it from that?
