Looking for a solution to setup ZohoCRM for the French "ECO-CONTRIBUTION"
Hello,
new tax rules for certain product categories introduced the so named "ECO-CONTRIBUTION" : a tax depending on the weight of a product and which rate is related to the composition of the goods (more than 50% stell, more than 50% wooden, etc...). I would translate it as a "recycling fee".
Of course, this taxation needs to appear on quotes/orders/invoices and I'm committed to report each quarter the types and amounts I invoiced.
A first tempt conducted me to create a product for each type of tax, and after each concerned device in a quote/order/invoice, add a line/position with a "tax product", calculating separately/manually the total weight of the line/position before as quantity. So I'm able to report how much tax I perceived on what type of goods. But it's heavy to handle and the quotes/orders/invoices are not clear... Poor productivity !
A second tempt conducted me to create a first custom field in products : lookup for the "tax product", and a second one with a formula which calculates the tax amount = weight of current product * price of the "tax product", and a third one with total price of product = standard price + tax amount.
Note according rules, it's OK to mention in the description of a product "including xxx EUR of "ECO-CONTRIBUTION".
That would be nice as I avoid additional lines in the quotes/orders/invoices, I can handle the mandatory mentions with the templates, and finally, I don't need to calculate by hand anymore.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to insert cross references in formula fields, and I have no clue on how the report generation would work...
Do you have any hint about how to realized the described function on a comfortable way (no manual calculations, no additional lines in quotes/orders/invoices, ability to generate a report about the tax types consumption over a period of time) ?
