My question is targetted as Zoho Technical staff but others please comment if you can shed some light on potential issues.

 

It is expected that the application I am working on will be home to 100,000+ records.  Zoho team advises that this is well within its capacity. 

 

HOWEVER, what does concern me is the relationship methods used where the link between two forms (tables) is done via LOOKUP fields in Forms.

 

I MUST link two forms together with a LOOKUP field (this is a ZOHO requirement) but I really struggle to comprehend how this will cope with more than 100,000 records to choose from.  firstly the list will be half way around the block in length and secondly, I doubt it will perform well.

 

There is a VERY limited amount of criteria that I can use to restrict this displayed list (perhaps 10%)

 

My Question is simple - WILL I HAVE A PROBLEM? 

 

Obviously this is no small scale application but it is a simple one to create and use which is why we are here at ZOHO.
