Marketing Tip #19: Upsell on product page to increase order value


Upselling doesn’t have to feel pushy. It can actually feel helpful when done right. Think "people also bought", upgrades, add-ons, or complementary items. 

A smart upsell increases your average order value and improves the customer experience by making them say, "Oh nice, I needed that too!" and helping them get everything in one go.
Example: Selling a coffee maker? Upsell filters, mugs, or an extended warranty.

Product pages and checkout are the perfect moments to do this because the shopper is already in buying mode.

Try this today:
Add two to three related product suggestions to one of your best-selling products.

Steps:
In your Zoho Commerce web app, go to the Online Store menu in the left pane –> Click the Item Recommendations module –> Under Upsell Items, click +Add Rule. Choose the desired criteria for recommending items.
