Mass email contacts with accounts related lists?

Mass email contacts with accounts related lists?

I need to send a mass email to certain contacts based on criteria that are under their respective Accounts. Is there a way to get the criteria to populate from Accounts to Contacts to that I can sort by those fields?  For example, my current customers are in Accounts and their business owners are in Contacts. I need to be able to email only certain customers, so I would create a view in Accounts to sort out those particular customers. How can I transer that to Contacts since I can't email from Accounts? Is there a way to use the related lists options to help with this?
