Membership Form Layout

I am not thrilled with the automated layout of my form. Some fields (particularly the description of the field) are EXTREMELY wide and require the user to scroll to the right to see the entire form. Is there anyway to wrap-around the field name (or limit the number of characters per line) so that it's not so long/wide.
