Migration of Retainer Invoices
Hi all,
I'm switching over from Xero where I have a number of retainer invoices that I need to enter into Books. I'm seeing that bulk entry will take care of the actual creation of the invoices, but what my limited accounting knowledge can't grasp is how they would, a) get categorised without bank statement lines, and, b) be used against future invoices as a result. I'm guessing this where manual journal entries come in? Would an entry for each retainer invoice need to be created so that they can be categorised for future use, or is it possible to have one lump sum entry which multiple invoices can be categorised against?
