More controls for User Fields in CRM

Dear All,
 
We are here with a minor but crucial enhancement to the user fields—now set accessibility permissions to the records for user field.
 
User field allows you to extend co-ownership of records to your peers. You can collaborate with them for certain high-value prospects or deals to close them sooner, or maybe include them for their expertise on an ad-hoc basis.
 
Thus far, user field would provide full access to a record, similar to that of the record owner. With our latest enhancement, we have limited this accessibility; admins can set up whether users added through the field will have Full Access, Read Write, Read Only.

There can be situations, for example, when a specific deal record should be accessible to product engineers. However, they need not have edit access to the records. This is when you can use the user field and set their accessibility to Read Only.
 
Again, in a product based organization, the product records should be accessible to compliance managers with read-write permissions. You can achieve that by adding the specific users and setting their accessibility permission to Read Write.
