Moving between free and paid CRM versions

Hi all,

what happens with functionality available for paid users when moving back to free edition?

For example, I want to create new fields in modules - which I can do as a paid version user.

But in the case I downgrade to free edition, will the previously added fields disappear?

Same about roles that can be more than two in paid version. What will happen when downgrading while having already 4 different roles and profiles?
