I run an IT company and sell a lot of licences. A client might have multiple subscription plans including software licences in different categories. A client might have Microsoft licences, antivirus licences, web hosting and maintenance package services. All with different billing cycles.
It is a bad experience to raise multiple subscriptions to manage this. WHMCS can do this but Zoho billing cannot.
Once the client has accepted the quote then all subscriptions should be activated as soon as the client puts in their credit card. All subscriptions items should be able to be accepted from one quote and one credit card entry instead of sending multiple hosted payment page links.
I get that consolidated billing brings it all together after the fact but it is the start of the selling relationship that really matters in terms of client satisfaction. Please allow multi plan subscription quotes.
At the moment, you can only add one plan to a subscription and then multiple add-ons. However, different products live in different plans with different billing cycles, so it's not feasible to use the add-ons.
This would suit a lot of companies, particularly in the B2B IT managed service space, and I would like to see this feature included. I was told that it was complicated, but I don't see any reason why that would not be included as an enterprise feature in Zoho Billing Enterprise.
