Multiple views of the same 'view'.

I would like a feature that allows for multiple views of the same 'view'.

For example, currently when looking at a 'view' you see the columns selected by the user in the 'Column display/rearrange' options window. What I would like are tabs in the 'Column display/rearrange' window. The first tab could be labeled 'view 1', the second tab could be labeled 'view 2' and maybe even a third tab labeled 'view 3'. Then under each tab you could select and rearrange your columns for each view.

Then put buttons on the 'view' page to allow the user to toggle back and forth between the different views. Maybe 'view 1' would only have the 3 most important columns used for specific circumstances. And 'view 2' might have an expanded number of columns in a different order used under different circumstances.
