Improvements to Your Zoho CRM for Everyone's Setup Experience

We’re thrilled to announce new enhancements to the Setup Menu in our Zoho CRM for Everyone system, designed to simplify your workday and streamline your overall experience.

Let's take a look at each of these enhancements in more detail.

Setup Home page

All settings in the setup homepage are grouped into clear, intuitive categories as shown in the screenshot below. This centralized view makes navigation simpler and more efficient by bringing all the tools to a single screen, allowing you to quickly spot the feature you need and configuring them with fewer clicks.

Faster Search in your Setup menu

Previously, when users searched for a feature from the search option on the Setup menu, the result would appear in a scrollable popup, as shown below. However, this approach was not user-friendly, as it made navigation difficult, displayed only partial information on the screen, and could be accidentally closed when users clicked outside the pop-up, forcing them to search again for the desired features.


Now, we've enhanced this search option by displaying the results inline, directly on the page, in the sidebar (left panel) beneath the search option. This alternative makes it quicker and easier to find specific settings and options, even in complex CRM systems with lots of nested menus.


Frequently Used Features in your Setup menu

The setup menu has a section that shows the user's most frequently used setup features. This Frequently Used option will display the top five features that have frequently been accessed, with the feature that's accessed the most number of times being listed at the top. This handy feature lets users easily return to tasks they've been working on without having to search or navigate through the entire menu.

Persistent Expand/Collapse States of Setup modules

Persisting the expand and collapse state of setup modules enhances user experience by remembering how they interact with the setup menu. It reduces visual clutter, making the setup interface easier to navigate by helping users quickly find what they need without scrolling through sections they rarely work on.

When a user accesses the setup menu, they may expand certain modules or sections (e.g., Channels, Automation, Customization), while collapsing others they don’t frequently work on. Now, these preferences will be remembered every time the user accesses the setup menu:
  1. The previously expanded sections remain expanded.
  2. The previously collapsed sections stay collapsed.

Our aim is to help you be more productive and concentrate on what's really important. With these enhancements, you’ll spend less time navigating the system and more time using it to create value for your organization.
