Possible to log with your emailID and not your Zoho account?

I would like to create an app which enables people interested in horse racing to have a follow up of their activity : winnings/loss, best horsetrack, most profitable trainers, etc etc.

I would like my app to be public. Everyone could save his own results to have customized and personal statistics.

To do that, should they need individually to register as Zoho members, or could I build this app with only my Zoho user, and the people connecting with their emailID ??

I hope I am understandable...
