Problem when the labels on the form are aligned on top of the fields

I meet another case of broken functionality after an update, and, my luck as always, this happened when deadline for my application is very close.

I appreciate a lot the new feature which allows users to place the labels in a form on the top of the fields. So I used it, and it worked OK by yesterday, when I saw that an important form from my application ceased to load. The scripts at on load section works properly if the labels are aligned on the left, but if the labels are aligned on the top, the on load scripts which apply to some lookup fields make the  form to hang on load.  On the same form, if I delete the on load scripts, the form will load, but the scripts from on user input at the lookup fields will not function.

I've shared my application to support. It is named Contracts and the form with problems is named New Contract.
