Question about Bulk Edit Feature ...

This was brought to my attention by Dennis Skouboe. After doing some experimentation of my own, I was able to confirm that in a scenario like ...


Field1 has an On User Input section that updates contents of Field2 with the string value of zoho.currenttime

... this works fine when I add/change values of Field1 via a regular Form ... but if I deploy the Bulk Edit facility and ask to have Field1 changed to "something or other" ... values in Field2 are not updated ... i.e. the on User Input script is not invoked.

I fail to see why changes invoked by a user via Bulk Edit would NOT constitute a User Input event.


Is this by Design or just another defect ?
