Renaming system-defined labels is now available across all DCs.

Hello everyone,

Zoho CRM includes predefined system fields across modules to support essential CRM operations. Until now, the labels of these fields were fixed and could not be edited from the Module Builder.

With this update, users can now rename system-defined field labels directly within the Module Builder. This allows teams to customize field names to better align with their business needs.



Notes
Note: System-defined fields used in integrated apps cannot be renamed.

Moderation Update: If you are still unable to rename the fields, the issue could be related to the API names associated with the fields. To resolve this, please navigate to:

Settings → Developer Hub → APIs and SDKs → API Name

From there, clear the affected API names. Once this is done, you should be able to rename the system defined fields successfully.
