Retrieving Data

Hi there I've been testing the Zoho Creator with a mock application and it seems to be a great program! However I'm wondering if it is possible for a user to view the database and be able to select the files they need?

Basically what I'm looking to achieve is to have a checkbox when viewing the database. Each entry in the database would be associated with a certain person. So if the checkbox is ticked, it will send an email to that person requesting a copy of the file.

Is this in any way possible? As this feature is crucial to the use of this application.
