SaaS Challenge - No Admin or ability to preload data, what are my options

As we all are aware Zoho is launching a SaaS model, and I know there has been quite a heated debate - and as it is still early days, more debate to come. Personally I think it is a good move, but it is posing some challenges.
You might be aware there is no Admin function (from developers point of view) so only the customer has access to their instance. This is mostly OK.
You may not be aware that there is no Audit function, nor is there the ability to preload a form with data.
The audit issue is not a big issue as they are easy to write. The second issue, of no preloaded data, coupled with no admin access, for us is a challenge. Our system runs on a set of c400 rules that tell deluge 'on validate' and 'on success' what to do. No rules, no system. We have talked to partner-support and they have just said they will log the idea.
So what are my options to get these rules into the Form? I do not want to send a spreadsheet to the customer, as it is a bit mucky as an option for none technical users.
What are your suggestions?
