Scoping functions...

Does the scoping of functions: thisapp.namespace.function(), indicate that we can call functions from other apps in our library?

if so, does this mean we can fetch and update data in other apps in our library?

The feature of app creation from xls data, one table per app it would seem; leads me to wonder if we could import data in this fashion for use in an existing app via cross app scripting?

Zoho thoughts would be welcome.
