Scripting Demos

I am very impressed with the thoroughness of the program layout. Creator is EASY to use. BUT I haven't done any programming since writing WordPerfect (before WP went to an extended language code) macros. I'm tempted to try writing scripts. Is there a set of script demos I can study? 1: Is there a demo of a look-up across forms, that I could study. I want to check if an entered name exists on a master list, and if so, have Creator fill in the address info. If the name isn't found, a message is posted. 2. I'm sure a script can be written to count the items in a column. Can a message be posted in the form to say "Class Closed" when the limit is reached?
