Scripts and Opera Browser 9.24

I have tested until I am blue in the face. I cannot get Opera 9.24 to run the scripts in Creator. Firefox and IE - they work fine. Opera will display a form as long as it doesn't have a script. Even the simplest script statement stops the form from loading.

Is there a workaround out there somewhere?
