Set permission to edit not working

notice the ADD button, i want that as EDIT only for the end-users

i tried your suggestion, in fact, i did that several times, i went to edit the application, Set the Permissions to EDIT record only and clicked the DONE button.

WHen I access the application, still the EDIT is not showing up, but the ADD is always there.

The top form allows users to ADD new records. So once they have added, the second form should allow them to EDIT particular field in the record.

Try it yourself, access my database and form and see if you can Set the Permission to EDIT and try to access the application. I think there is a bug in setting the permission.
