simple 'Formula' cells aren't updating in cloned application

Hi,
I recently duplicated an application for my school for another grade level. The original application is still working fiine, however the clone's simple 'Formula' cells aren't updating. They just calculate the sum of four other cells (Q1_Demerits + Q2_Demerits + Q3_Demerits + Q4_Demerits), however they are not updated when you load the View that they're part of.

So looking across the cells for a particular entry you might see that Q1_Demerits = 5, the rest equal '0' and Total Demerits will still read '0'. The weird thing is that if you click "edit" for that entry and, without changing anything, you click 'update' to close edit options, the data Total Demerits changes to '5', correcting itself.

So in the original it works fine, the Total cell is correct as soon as you load the View. However, the clone's Total cells don't update unless you force them to by 'editing' them.
