Hello,
I builded another app today and found several issues (with low impact, most of them...). Please, let me know if there is anything that can be done about them:
Questions:
- Is there a possibility to create a field auto-num? I would use the ID field created by Zoho, but it has a very strange sequence of registries (first add 1065420000010247, after the 106542000015026, why not last + 1?). Is there anyway to do it by the script editor?
- Is there any caracter I can put when setting the value of a Multiline field (or the body of an email) that "brakes" the line?
Bugs:
- I mounted a View GROUPING by one field "ABC". Consulting the view its fine, the grouping is correct. But, if I want an impress report (downloading as a PDF file), the PDF comes without the grouping. Why this happens?
- I mounted a View (CHART type) to see the expenses by vehicle. Each vehicle has N trips and I want to see how much the vehicle spend in all its trips. The view was set to SUM the value of the trips and to group by vehicle. I expected the chart would present one bar per vehicle, but it brought one bar per trip (repeating the same vehicle over and over).
- In Brasil, the decimals of currency field must be formatted with ',' (comma) and not '.' (dot). Reason: if I export the table to Excel, I can't sum this column as it is considered a text field.
Feature Requests:
- Do you have any plans on creating something as a "Splash Screen", showing an image at the entrance, or the logo of the company?
- Would it be possible to add in the "Application Settings" an option to change all the pre-defined messages and fields, such as Add/Delete/Edit success messages, submit/reset buttons, etc.?
- At Last but not Least, you have a great setup for "Views". With some increases, such as an option of exporting to PDF after the selection of filters (more than one) and groups, and display these configurations at the report header, it could turn into an excellent report generator.
I'll try not to push so hard with the issues next time...
Keep up with the great job!
Kindly,
Felipe Castro
