Has anyone found a workaround on how to push an update out from Products after we make changes?  e.g. we link accounts using the lookup fields from the accounts to each product, and when the product is updated, an email with the information is sent out to the general e-mail of these accounts.  

I can see that this is an option in the workflow, but after setting it up, it doesn't work.

Any ideas please?

**We're on professional edition, so any custom functions available to the enterprise edition will not work.
