Sub Views

I am confused, the system used to allow the set up and saving of sub views.

This was great because a user could do this for minor repetitive operations.

This seams to have been dropped in favour of being able to set up a new view, this is still a good thing, but for minor users actions this will mean loads of views, and very confusing????

PLease advise???
