subforms (again?)

I've been looking at the Creator app and it looks very promising.

However, subforms seems to be something that is missing (I've seen lots of posts requesting this)

My question is this: Are there any workarounds that can be used to overcome this lacking feature?

What I need for my (planned) project is not necessarily subforms, but a way to add/view/edit records from one table in the context of another (they do not necessarily need to be located on the same page a la subforf).

E.g. From a single record of one table, I can go to a filtered list view of another table, where the foreign key corresponds with the primary key of the first. When adding new records, the foreign key is automatically set in the context of the record of the first table. Etc...

Is this possible?
