Submission Errors in Firefox

For the database I made, when users go to input their information, but it errors and says that the first field is empty. It's a mandatory field, so they cannot submit. If the field is not mandatory, it submits with a blank field that cannot be edited.

This problem has also appeared in Netscape, but not in IE. Unfortunately, I have about 100 users, and 90% use Firefox.
