System debugger/logger. 500 emails per day limit (and other) - real problem
Dear Zoho Team,
I decided to move the discussion from my ticket to the community. First of all let me thank you for the great platform and services.
However, today we started our new little project and immediately got a problem we didn't expect: email delivery from deluge function stopped working without any warnings.
1. We checked all limits in Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator and didn't find any info. I searched in Google and didn't find any info about these limits. We wrote you you were waiting for the answer about 5 hours.
And then suddenly we got the answer for you that there is a emails per day limit - 500. For ALL functions and ALL users only 500 emails.
Guys, i send about 50-70 PERSONAL emails per day. Only me! The same do our users/customers/functions.
EMail is everywhere and everything, why do you have that limit that we can't change/increase even for money?! Today is a 2015 year!
2. Zoho Creator itself allows to buy more emails per day. Custom function in Zoho CRM doesn't
3. The real reason that this limit will always be reached is that Zoho doesn't provide any system logger/debugger for the custom functions.
So we have to send tons on emails to ourselves just to know what's happening, were there any errors, were there any success functions and so on. There is NO ANY OTHER WAY to inform developers what's happening.
Ain't that frustrating?
4. That's why we immediately reached that strange limit (500 per day for the whole organization!) in few minutes - we just ran many tests and simulated there were many customers on our sites and IMMEDIATELY got banned by Zoho for a day (!)
You call our plan Zoho Enterprise. Sorry, but that's not an enterprise solution, it seems to be small and very-small. When you have few customers - it's OK. When you get something more than a little toy - you imemdiately reach the Zoho limits.
5. There are many other limits in Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator and sometimes we reach them and THERE IS NO WAY to know that. Everything just stops working completely and you will know about that after few hours when your angry customers/users call you and say nothing works.
6. We agree Zoho is a SaaS provider and we have to buy more API calls/emails/etc. But it is not possible to increase that 500 per day emails limit even for money!
So please tell us what to do.
How can we debug our applications if there is no way to do that except emails? How can we do that using email if there is 500/day limit?
Why don't you inform about limits reaching? So inspite of all automation and having nice APIs and so on we have to hire a special guy who will look into the Zoho logs and pages and check whether limits are already reached or not.
We just do not know what to do. Everything is broken now and we have been waiting for about 12 hours and will have to wait for another 12 hours to get that limit reset!
