Text color changes when embedding with javascript

When I embed a view using Javascript instead of an IFrame the text color on my entire page changes to black. Something in the code must be re-setting the default font color. If you can't re-create this problem let me know and I'll create a sample page and post the link. I'm using IFrames for now but I look forward to this glitch being overcome so that I can use JS.
