Has anyone encountered this problem? My dropdown fields are showing unformatted text, like what you see below

This is happening to all my dropdown fields across all my apps.

I tried the different language options under "localization", but that doesn't help.

 

Anyone has encountered this? Or can anyone help? Thanks alot.
