Updating a table

Hi Folks - I have a Flight Record form that uses a Lookup field to a Customers table. If this Flight Record form is open and a new Customer is added, the new customer's details don't show in the Lookup field. Somehow I need to be able to refresh the lookup. Any suggestions please?
