Updating records through Zoho Sheets View doesn't update timeline or trigger workflow rules

I have noticed that when i update a series of record with the zoho sheets view (see here http://d.pr/i/ahnR)
it doesn't update timeline history or trigger workflow rules.

I am using it in the Deals module.

Looking forward for some more info.
