Upgrades MUST be optional!
I realize this is really a feature request, but ideas seem to get more traction here in the Feedback forum.
In the future, developers MUST have the option to port or copy their full applications, data and code, into a ZC upgraded environment; without effecting their "production" applications in the previous version of ZC.
This allows application developers to "unit test" their application in the new environment before "pushing" the upgraded environment out to their current users.
Because I once built and maintained just such a "staging vs production" environment, I know very well how much extra resources it takes to accomplish. But I also know that if ZC ever hopes to be taken seriously by professional developers, that this approach to upgrades must be undertaken before the next ZC upgrade.
