URL field too short

The URL field in Creator only allows 255 characters. I broke it on the one of the first URL I tried to insert. This have a limit based on how long URLs can be (2k?). Otherwise there are a lot of URLS that it can't be used for. This also does not make sense because you can add more than 255 to a regulator single line field and use it as a url
