User Levels

Hi,

I need to have a field on the form that can be edited by some users but not all users. Is that possible? (I.e. I have a maintenance form where the tenant requests service. I would like the maintenance team to change the status of the maintenance request that will be shown to the tenant, but I would not like the tenant to see the status field when they submit the request and I would not like the tenant to be able to edit the request once it�s submitted)

Maybe it can work if upon submitting the request it brings up another field in the form (on success the form would add a dropdown field)

Also, can I have one field bring up (manipulate) information in another field on the form? (I.e. drop down field to chose building � once building is selected it would bring up tenants in that building, sort of like choosing a country and that would bring up the correct states in the next field.
