I work in a wedding planning boutique. When a bride/couple comes into our studio they complete a walk-in form that includes 27 categories of wedding vendor types (caterer, photography, florist, etc). A bride can check 0-27 of the categories. I have attached a copy of the walk-in form for reference.
For example, Susie Bride completes the form and checks caterer, music, and florist on her form.
When I enter Susie Bride's completed walk-in form in the Lead module in Zoho CRM, I pick from a multiple choice list all the categories the bride checked on her form.
Then when I save the new lead in Zoho I want an automated email sent to the bride that lists all the vendors in each category she chose (I know I have to create a workflow to send the email). Each wedding vendor in a category would be listed in the email as a clickable link to the vendor website.
For example, Susie Bride would get this email:
Dear Susie, thank you for visiting our wedding planning boutique and sharing the vision for your wedding. We are excited to help you find the perfect wedding vendors for your big day. As promised, below is a list of our preferred wedding professionals that we recommend.
Caterer
Florist
Music
We are currently using Pardot and are switching over to Zoho October 1. Creating variable data that is added to email templates is extremely easy in Pardot, but I have no clue how to create these variable data lists I can use as custom merge fields in emails in Zoho.
I have been waiting a month for the Zoho engineer I spoke with to create this custom script and my sales rep at Zoho has not responded to my emails and phone calls regarding this issue for the past three weeks.
I am extremely frustrated and need to know how to create these variable data lists to add to email templates ASAP because come October 1st I need to have this working in Zoho.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
