We hope you are doing well. We at Zoho Books are constantly trying to enhance the app and bring in new features to meet your accounting needs. To achieve this, we are back with yet another set of updates to Zoho Books.
Before we dive in to what's new this month, we want to give you a quick update on bank feeds. We’ve been getting a lot of queries in our previous posts about the broken bank feeds in regard to Chase and Capital One. As we've updated you in a previous post, we've been working closely with our service provider to complete the required migration by the third week of June. We greatly appreciate your patience with us in this regard. Until then, we request you to import your bank statements manually.
Now let's take a look at what's new this month in Zoho Books.
KeyPay Integration [Australia & UK]
Simplify your payroll accounting by integrating KeyPay with Zoho Books. You'll have to set up this integration from your KeyPay account. Once you've set up this integration, you can keep track of your earnings, taxes, allowances, and reimbursements in the respective journals of Zoho Books. Learn more about the
KeyPay integration.
To set up the integration: go to your KeyPay account > Business > Payroll Settings > Integrations > click Add in the Zoho Books card.
Create Tasks in Zoho Books
The Tasks feature in Zoho Books lets you keep track of all the to-dos that you or your users have to complete. You can create these tasks, list them based on priority and send reminders to the assigned users to get the job done on time. You can assign these tasks to active users of your organisation. You'll have the option to send reminders and mark the tasks based on priority. You can also associate the task with transactions in Zoho Books. The tasks feature is available in the Items, Customers, Invoices, Estimates, Sales Orders, Credit Notes, Vendors, Expenses, Purchase Orders, Bills, Vendor Credits, Bank Accounts, Projects and Journals modules of Zoho Books.
The Tasks feature is available in the organisations that are in the Professional and higher plans.
To enable Tasks: go to Settings > Preferences > General > check the Tasks option.
To create a Task: click the task icon on the top right side of the page and click + New.
Bulk Action in Client Portal for Invoices
Your customers can now bulk-pay and bulk-download invoice PDFs as a single PDF file from the client portal. You can download retainer invoices as well in the same way. Retainer invoices will now be displayed in a separate tab in the client portal.
To bulk-pay: go to the client portal > bulk-select the invoices > Pay Now or Download PDF.
