What's New this November 2019 in Zoho Payroll - Indian Edition

Hello, users,

We have rolled out new features and made some enhancements to Zoho Payroll in the past two months. Read on to know them in detail.

Export termination payrolls
If you have processed any termination payroll, you can now export it separately in CSV or XLS format

Also, you can view the termination payroll in the Payroll History and they are posted as separate journal entries in Zoho Books.

Enable or disable ESS portal for employees in bulk
You can now perform bulk operations like enabling or disabling portal access to multiple employees at one go in the Employees module.
To enable or disable, check the employees for whom you want to enable or disable the portal access > click Enable Portal or Disable Portal.

Track loans with Loan Reports

We have introduced two new reports, The Loan Outstanding Summary report and the Loan Perquisites Summary report, to help you track the loans that you have given to your employees.

The Loan Outstanding Summary report will have the details of the loan amount, instalment amount, principal paid, perquisite rate, etc.

The Loan Perquisite Summary report will contain the details of the loan amount and perquisite amount for the employees who have paid the perquisite amount.

To access these reports, go to ReportsLoan Reports.

Auto-verifying of IFSC

With this update, you don't have to double check your IFSC manually because we will do that for you. When you enter the bank details, Zoho Payroll will automatically verify the IFSC that you've entered and alert you if it is incorrect.

View Employees' CTC Details report

Employees' CTC comprises of earnings, deductions and reimbursements. You can view individual breakup of these components for all the employees in the Employees' CTC Details report. Using this report, you can export the exact payroll expense details of each employee for each bracket (earning, reimbursement and deduction).
To access this reports, go to ReportsPayroll Overview >Employees' CTC Details

We hope these enhancements make your pay run process smoother. Try them and drop a comment if you have any questions or feedback. We always love to hear from you!

Sincerely,
Supriya
The Zoho Payroll Team
