While in application the forms and views are not sorted

While in application the forms and views are not sorted

I noticed that when designing an application the forms and view are presented in alphabetical order in the drop downs but when actually using the application they are sorted in some other order. I would like them to appear alphabetically on the application like they are when editing. How can this be done? Thanks!
