Zoho Creator - using form fields without using a form layout
I have created several forms in Zoho Creator but, rather than the
single- or double-column layout, the owner wants them to look like the
final version (nicely arranged, custom colors, logo in the corner, etc)
from the get-go. She saw the signup screen
(https://www.zoho.com/creator/signup.html) and signin screen
(https://www.zoho.com/creator/signin.html). The signup screen is almost
a double-column and the signin screen is a centered box--neither of
which I can figure out how to replicate.
I can tweak my forms slightly (background color and a couple more) and
also embed them in a page--neither was enough. I found an answer about
customizing the layout using "Client API"
(https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/form-layout-6-12-2009-1) and another
stating I could use HTML to put input fields wherever I wanted (https://writer.zoho.com/public/help/creator-client-api/fullpage).
Since I don't know HTML very well, I'm slogging through that
now--trying to learn enough HTML to make it work without having to learn
enough HTML to write a book. While I work on this, am I missing
something obvious? Can the signup/signin screens be done just with Creator?
If Zoho has all these testimonials about how beginners can create and
implement business-wide forms/processes in only a few hours, why
can't I figure out what should be something I think as simple?
Thanks.
