Zoho Inventory making changes to previous Fiscal Year Trial Balance

I'm running into an issue with Zoho Inventory syncing to QuickBooks and making edits now to journal entries made in our previous fiscal year. Fiscal Year End reporting has been completed, but our balances keep changing.

If we make purchases or credits/returns through Zoho Inventory, the original journal entry is being updated instead of a new entry being created. This changes the balances of certain accounts for the previous fiscal year, messing up our books. 

I have been in contact with support for this for two months now and while they have fixed one issue with account names being changed, they do not see an issue with journal entries created in the previous fiscal year being updated after the fiscal year is complete. They claim the numbers aren't actually changing, but our accountants argue otherwise. A change in a debit line from one account to a credit line in another account on our previous fiscal year end's trial balance is a big issue.

Our accountants are very frustrated and I don't know how to prevent these changes from happening outside of disabling the sync with QuickBooks and making all the updates manually.
