I previously raised a concern about inaccurate storage usage reporting in Zoho Mail but did not receive a clear or satisfactory response. To investigate further, I meticulously calculated the storage used by all folders in my Zoho Mail account using AI-assisted analysis of the storage reports provided by Zoho. The total storage usage across all folders amounts to 5.64 GB. However, my Zoho Mail dashboard consistently displays 8.77 GB of 10 GB used, even after multiple refreshes.

This significant discrepancy raises concerns about the accuracy of Zoho Mail’s storage calculation. As a loyal user since 2016, I have always trusted Zoho Mail’s reliability, but this issue suggests that the reported storage usage may be inflated. Could this be an intentional mechanism to encourage users to purchase additional storage? I hope this is not the case, but the lack of clarity and the persistent discrepancy are concerning.

Could the Zoho team please investigate this issue and provide a detailed explanation of how storage is calculated? Additionally, I’d appreciate guidance on resolving this discrepancy or correcting the displayed storage usage.
