Dear ZohoCreator users,

This post is to keep you informed about the release of Zoho Creator's Business Version later this week. We will be announcing the pricing structure then. But, before we get there, we want to take a moment to let you know about the key features in the business version.

Whats new in Business Version?

1. Rebranding
You can rebrand your application by replacing the ZohoCreator logo with your own. You can upload your own logo, which will be visible on your homepage and in the live mode of the application.

2. SSL support
Secure Sockets Layer provides secured connection for transferring data into and from ZohoCreator.

3. Back-up your application
You can now make copies of your application and ensure that you are fully prepared to handle any unfortunate disaster like deletion of data or loss of data. You can take multiple backups for the same application.

4. Restore the backed-up application
Since the backups has versions, you can restore from any of the backed up versions.

5. Embed Form/View to your website without Zoho Promo
When you embed your Form/View in your websites, if you do not want the Zoho Promo, you now have the option to remove the Zoho Promo from the embedded Form/View.

Some common questions:

1. Is your pricing based on number of applications or number of users? How many applications can I can create?

Zoho Creator pricing is based on numbers of users and not based on the number of applications.
You can create UNLIMITED number of applications and there is no restriction on the number of records/entries you are adding to your application.

2. Do you still have a free version?

Yes, there will always be a free version of Zoho Creator. It will be limited in some ways like... you can just have 2 users in your account (including yourselves). You can add more users once you upgrade to the professional edition.

3. I am already using Zoho Creator for free. How does this new version change things for me?

There is no change in the way you create and access the application. But once we release the Business Version there will be restriction in the number of users in an account. You can have 2 users (including yourselves) for free. So it means that you will be able to share your application with only 1 user.

....but I have already shared my application to more than 1 user, what will happen to them?
In this new business version, all your users (no matter how many of them) will be able to access the shared application for period of 3 months from the time of release. The sharing details will be intact till you upgrade to the Professional Plan. When you upgrade your account within the 3 months timeline, all your users will be able to access the application without any hassle.

If you fail to upgrade within that period, only 1 shared user will be able to access your application.

4) I am using SSL for my applications. Will that continue to work?

SSL will work until 3 months from the time of Business Version release. You need to upgrade to the Professional Edition to get SSL support.
