This message is directed at the Zoho Creator users, specifically developers who are well versed in Deluge Script. I have been having quite a few issues with Zoho Creator when using Deluge Sript. zoho creator edit record possibility
Hi, It would be very nice if we had the opportunity to limit the change or edit functionality of a record solely to the creator of that record. For instance: John Doe created a record. Now we would like to give him the opportunity to change his record BUT NOT the records of other people. Suggestion may be to add a field "restricted" in the edit area or on the individual record level where one can equal this to the emailadress of the creator. Problem with form loading
Hi, I have a creator application and for some reason one of my forms is not loading. The form title and the 'more actions' heading show, however the rest of the form does not load and the 'loading' note remain on screen until I refresh the page. All of my other forms and views (7 forms approx 20 views) are all loading no problem. Thanks! Rachel

Is there a way to do a "like" operator in Creator? ex. in SQL, CompanyName like 'Zoho%'...how can I do the same in Creator What I am trying to do is to have user input part of the company name in a input text box. The app will then populate a list of the companies in the dropdown box below.
Tomcat error http500 blackberry mobile access not working

Problem with hidden lookup field
If you have a lookup field with Checkboxes (multiselect) and it has an empty collection to load (there is still no data for it to load, no checkboxes to load) and you need to hide it when the form loads, this cause the form to freeze with "Loading..." message and loading of the form to fail. In the application I build, this kind of field needs to be hidden when the form is loading - but this it's not possible in the actual situation. My form is a stateless form. Validation does not work on my site
Hello I created a form and everything works when I test it your website but when I get the code to embed in my website the validation keeps giving an error. It says the wrong code was typed in and to please retype the correct code. However the code that I'm typing in is the correct code. The form will not work on my website. Ampersand in Application Title shows as &
I have an ampersand in my application title. The title appears correctly in the editing mode but the ampersand is shown as & when actually running the application. I can switch to "and" as a workaround, but I prefer the look of the ampersand. Thanks.

BUG? X Axis Title and Y Axis Title NOT recorded
The X & Y Axis Title on CHART VIEWS are not recorded when going from EDIT APPLICATION to ACCESS THIS APPLICATION and back. The values are lost are resort back to the defaults of "X- Axis" and "Y - Axis" respectively.

Newbie needs help (again!)
I'm embarrassed to keep showing up in the forum asking for help, but you people have been so great! I'm currently using a fairly simple form on my website to collect basic data and send an email reply. It seems to work correctly about 60% of the time, but several people have encountered "Please Wait" screens that seem to "freeze" their computers. When users click on a custom action button that calls a function that opens a new view, they see a "Loading..." message overlaid with a "Function Executed Successfully" message. Is there any way to turn off the function message? - Craig
Formula field not updating when record added via deluge script
I am using deluge script to insert records to a form but have a problem as the Formula fields in the form are not getting updated. How can I solve this problem ( preferably with retaining the use of the formula fields )?
Problem updating data using webpage

group function in view not working
Hi, I tried created a view associated with a 'expense form', which records daily expense with 'category' field, such as oil, meals...etc. In that view, I select 'category' as grouping field. However, the pie chart still treats every expenses as individual records, not group by any category. Add data to form via email
Hi, I know that it is possible to email the form's data as email using input.formdata. Similarly, is there any way by which i can add data to the form via email (.. something similar to when we have excel sheet with same headings and upload it.. it automatically adds to the form's data) Please advice, Thank you, REgards. Iphone...
i've found that your creator apps work on the iphone, but if there was a way to tweak the layout alittle, this would make a pretty awesome iphone web app, it would also be nice to export the calender views to iCal.
My users see two applications with different dates, when there is only one
Some of my shared users see two applications when they log in - with two different dates. But there is only one application. And sometimes when I create a new view or field, they cannot see those changes despite refreshing. Whether these options are connected I'm not sure.
View Previous button not working
On a view after moving to the next page by clicking on the View Next button clicking the View Previous button does not move back. The Please Wait message does show but the screen does not change. The View First button does work. Herb Wexler

Is there script to delete an entry based on a time function? For example, if expiration_date = zoho.datetime, then delete current entry. This seems to require a timer job process running in the background.
Can't save script regardless of what I do

Views :- Rearrange colums using up-down arrow
Hi, I see that i am able rearrange colums in View by drag and drop. This is okay, for say less than 10 fields. I have about 15 fields, ( and i might add more as i develop the application). I find it increasingly diffuclt to format views for the following reasons. Display the fields in view in the order in which they are presented in the form Say intially i have the fields in this oder. Selecting view records from a multi-select picklist field
I have two views - one a list of topics and one a list of activities. I want to show a list of all the activities associated with a given topic. Activities can be associated with many different topics so the TopicRefs field on the Activity form is a multi-select picklist. I have created a custom action by row on the Topic view that calls a function with TopicRef as a parameter. The function then uses openURL to open the view. Minor problem with Confirmation Request ...
Hi: Only noticed this today ... but when I select a record in a List View and then click on the Delete link ... the resulting confirmation message seems to be messed up ... this is what I see ... The page at http"//creator.zoho.com says Do you really want to [0]the selected[1] record(s) delete undefined X undefined OK | Cancel ... where X is the number of records I selected for deletion. When I respond with OK or Cancel, the subsequent actions are as expected ... just the warbled message will confuse
