cfhttp tag breaks with encoding
I am using the cfhttp tag for a form post to zoho support. The url to send back to is encoded like this: "http://www........" and so on. This #x3a; (pound sign) breaks the cfhttp tag even when I escape the # as ##x3a; I have tried everything I can think of to submit the cfhttp tag. Without encoding, with it, escaping it. It just won't work. Has anyone else run into this?

Importing Accounts - to update a field
Hello, I have about 500 accounts that need to be updated. The accounts are already in CRM, and I do not want to change anything other then just one field or make a duplicate. I just need the date of a field to be updated. The field that I want to update is united only the dates are different depending on the account. Do you suggest any way how to massively import this update to the field without having to rewrite all the accounts, or me having to update each field in each account separately? Thank
CRM campaign - automating the 'add existing contacts' query
Every time we go to launch a campaign, we have to create and run and select contacts from a query. Seems that we should be able to: 1. create and save a contact query for each campaign, and 2. have it run automatically on some schedule, or launch it manually as needed. 3. have the option to completely replace the contacts that exist in the campaign. Is anyone facing the same challenges with CRM campaigns?
why most of my entries are not shown in the calendar?
Hi, I have created several tasks and events. I see them in the activities, but they are not shown in the calendar. Only one "call" is shown... Why is that? Nesting Members
I would like to have a Parent Account and multiple Member Accounts (Ex: Hospital - Parent, Units/Departments - Members), and set up Zoho CRM in a way to show a nesting of Members in the Accounts listing under the Parent Account rather than listed as separate accounts. Also, what would be the best way to have the aggregate potential $'s listed from Member Accounts as a total under the Parent Account without duplicating the total dollar amount. TITLE field is suddenly blank for both Leads and Contacts
Hi for the past few days we cannot Edit/Add Title Field to new or existing Leads and Contacts. We first noticed with a new lead that one of our team members forgot to chose a Title for, and when trying to edit it, the Field options were blank instead of the usual list. Also at the Lead/Contact page, when you hover your mouse over each field you usually get and "edit" text next to each field and are able to edit each field individually... BUT for the title/name field there is no more "edit" text shown

View "My Contacts" not using built-in view
How can I create a view in Contacts that shows just my contacts (not those of sub-users). 1) I do not want to use the built-in "My Contacts" view, because I want further customize it. 2) I do not want to specify my own contact name in the "Contact Owner" field, because I want all my sub-users to utilized this veiw. Notes Will Not Save
When entering notes within Leads or Contacts, the information will disappear, and not save. (See Image Below) A blank box appears when I click the save button. I've tried multiple browsers, clearing my cache, deleting my cookies, logging out and back in, and attempting under different users. This is frustrating. I have to double the amount of work I do since the notes will not save. Please advise.

Manually enter email into lead
I have the free version of Zoho CRM. There doesn't seem to be a way to manually log an email that was received. I'm not looking for integration of any kind (since that would require an upgrade), but while I can log a call or a task I can't seem to be able o log an email. Is this the way it is supposed to function? Seems like an oversight.
Changing a "Potential" field type in layouts without losing data?
Hello, I'm an going through my companies CRM and updating the layout of our potentials tab. In the past we used check boxes for certain fields. Importing Notes Issues
a) Import by Parententity Id of Notes either doesn't work properly. With a Zoho ID like zcrm_1891782000000144069 it just fails with no useful feedback. So I must do separate file imports for account notes, contact notes, opportunity notes and lead notes. These need to match by name and some people have the same name. b) I've specified the original user email that created the note but they all show as being created / modified by me.
Import Notes from CRM conversion process
I am trying to convert from ACT! to ZoHo, and have the data exported from ACT! into csv files - Contacts, Notes, History, etc. I have imported Contacts successfully into ZoHo, then exported them from ZoHo to get the ID. That ZoHoID then was "merged" with the Notes csv file and I then tried to import the Notes into ZoHo. No errors were reported on the import, but nothing is getting imported. Add a currency field to the products
We use Zoho enterprise. Our products have pricing per currency. We would like to see the currency field appear when adding a product. When a quote or invoice is then added (where a person is able to select a currency) the quote or invoice would then do the correct conversion instead of relying on just 1 base currency. This means we can add products per currency instead of a product across the entire group.

Hi, I am attempting to start migrating my company's data from another CRM. First question: when testing Lead import, the UI is asking for "Lead Id". This is a required field. What is it supposed to be loaded with since I do not have any kind of internal or external identifier for this field? I would assume that other modules will have similarly named Id fields. custom module of type "person"
I have created a custom module that lists a special category of individuals. Customising standard reports
there is a fantastic report called 'Converted Leads' - it measures the number of leads that have been converted to a company and contact from the 'Lead Created Time'. So I can look back at all leads that came in a particular month e.g. last September and see what percentage are converted to Companies and Contacts over time. Unfortunately it is a system report and the Help Desk says it can't be duplicated or edited. It would be great to add at least a Sales Amount column and add it up. Or even work

When you are in the Accounts module and look at the Closed Activities and Open Activities, Zoho CRM doesn't show you which contacts are associated with the activity.
