How do I link a field over two modules?
How do I link a field (which is a pick-list option) in the Accounts module with the contacts of that account in the Contact module, so that it automatically shows and updates in both modules when edited?

It's clear the "physical" record ID is an excellent way to ensure uniqueness, now, asking a customer to repeat a 19 digit code is extremely cumbersome, I would ask them to repeat the last 5-6 digits, but is there any way to have it in a shorter unique version? Thanks,

Hi, I am using Zoho CRM in Hebrew. I want to imports contacts from my gmail, they are also in Hebrew, most of them. Problem is when I imports them it only shows the names of the contacts I added. Nothing else, no information about them. Can anybody help? Thank you.
Zoho Kills Customized Fonts
In February, Zoho CRM killed the "HTML Preview" function, and replaced by its duplicating "PDF Preview". I thought they started to realize how terrible this decision was made, given a large number of customers have complained. However, that was just the beginning of a disaster. Last week they took a further step to have killed the customizing fonts function. As you could see in the attached screenshot, the left one was a quote generated last week, and the right one is the same quote generated today.

Hello I signed up for trial about a week ago, once in I created few accounts and contacts as well as users, now when I go back, the systems shows me completely blank license with no records. any ideas what might have gone wrong?
Storage Issues - help !
We are a new enterprise user in the first few days of having gone live. I am quickly starting to worry about storage issues. Namely we'll use the BCC dropbox often - many of these emails will have brochures attached which could equal upto 5MB. Should we continue this for weeks or months we'll soon need TB's of storage. My question is - is there a way for the attachments of emails to be stripped before they are placed on file. It would be good to have a record of the email but don't need the attachment
Report scheduler not functioning properly

Workflow setup, can't get it to work
Hi Guys, I'm new to using workflow and I want to get started. Here's what I'm trying to do. In Products in CRM we have created a text field called Part number, all I want is that each time a new product is created and the Part number field is filled that the CRM field Product Code gets set to the same value. What are all the xmlData options for convertLead?
Hi, I have looked at the documentation for convertLead. It gives some good examples but doesn't specify all the options for the xmlData parameter. For Row 1, I can see options: createPotential, assignTo, notifyLeadOwner, notifyNewEntityOwner. Are there any other options for Row 1? In particular, is there an option to stop the creation of an Account? (like createPotential=false but for Accounts) I think it would be good if documentation explicitly specified the parameters as well as having examples
Cases (not custom) lookup field is not able to be included in a report
I am wanting to include lookup fields in my cases report. Available fields are only the custom fields. The lookup fields that are 'hard wired' in Zoho are not editable, and not visible in the columns to include in the report module. why? Solution?

I am having problems logging into our account under my email address YLee@UltimateLab.com (email address not recognized by system). My co-worker was able to login to my account on her computer. I haven't changed computers--I did create a new account with the same email address to send this info. 1) how do I get in? 2) can I update this email address to YLee@UltimateLabsInc.com? IP restriction - Locked out
I am currently unable to log in to my Zoho account. A message 'Access from this machine is not allowed' is popping as i try to log in. Previously i have limted the IP access and have no problem logging in from my device. Could you please assist to reset the IP restrictions or advise other solutions. Urgent. Thank you.

Hi everyone I'd like to do 2 things with custom CRM fields and haven't been able to: 1. I have a check box in my Accounts tab that I'd like the related contacts (custom field) to reflect. I also want to be able to modify all related contacts' check box from the Accounts tab. Is that possible? 2. Hi there, I am using ZOHO CRM API for creating and updating records. Now, I have created a sale order record with one product on product details section. Now, I needs to update the sales order record by deleting the existing product from product details section and add a new product on this record. Is this possible? If I try to update the sales order record with new product details by using <product no="1"> tag , it will add the new product as second product rather than overriding the first product.
Custom Field Update on Automated Rule>Action
I generated a custom field on the Potential field I want to setup a specific value when a new Potential is created. I went to the Automation section to setup a rule. However in step 4 I dont see the option for a field update. I just see an option for "Send Alerts" or "Assign Tasks".
